As I read through some of the messages over the years, some people commented that they left stuff for others to take, one in particular comes to mind, someone left CDs. I think it is great to leave stuff, and then someone has a souvenir they can take, instead of vandalizing the tree! I am going to try and get some postcards made and take them out there with me and leave them with a note “Take one, but leave the tree please”.

The U2ube
I went back and visited many times. After adding the plaque, on a subsequent trip, I added the U2ube, and placed a notebook inside. One notebook became two, and eventually I 
replaced the tube with a larger suitcase with a big heart on it.
As the notebooks filled up, people added new notebooks and pens. My heart was filled with appreciation for my experience, and knowing how many others had enjoyed their experience.
